Matt Hall, PGeo
Matt has a PhD in sedimentology from the University of Manchester, UK, and nearly 20 years’ experience in the energy industry. He has worked for Landmark as a volume interpretation specialist, Statoil as an explorationist, and ConocoPhillips as a geophysical advisor. Matt has written over 50 papers, articles, conference papers, posters, and book chapters.
Evan Bianco, PGeo
Evan has a Master’s degree in geophysics from the University of Alberta, Canada, and seven years’ experience as an industry consultant in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Evan's interests span a range of disciplines, from time-lapse seismic in oil sands to integrated interpretation, geomodelling, and cartography.
Ben is a postgraduate student in Felix Hermann's Seismic Laboratory for Imaging and Modeling at the University of British Columbia. He graduated from Dalhousie University in 2009 with a degree in physics, and has several years' experience in Python development for marine acoustic applications. Ben works part-time for Agile.
Kara is the managing editor of Agile Libre, Agile's publishing imprint. She has 20 years' experience in publishing, having previously managed geography titles at Reed Elsevier in London, production at Sandviks Bokforlag in Norway, editorial at Weigl in Calgary and at Altitude in Canmore, Alberta.
